Trinity Provides the Interior Design for Plume Restaurant, Matakana

Trinity was selected to work with Designpoint Architecture to provide the interior

design of what was once the Heron's Flight Vineyard restaurant. Part of the redesign

involved the addition of the Cellar Door, a new area for tasting wines from both Heron's

Flight Vineyard and Runner Duck Estate. The scope of work that Trinity provided for the

Cellar Door, Restaurant and Library included interior finishes, custom designed lighting

and furniture, commissioned artwork, and accessories.

Trinity collaborated closely with Designpoint Architecture and Designpoint Landscapes

as well as Brackenridge Builders. Although there was an extremely tight timeframe

for all the work to be completed before the opening of the summer season, all parties

worked well together to ensure the project met the deadline and exceeded the client's

expectations.

The new Plume Restaurant is now open for lunch and dinner and is also available for

private functions. With the new interiors, outdoor dining area, the surrounding

gardens and landscape views, it is a stunning location to enjoy great food and local wine.
