An exciting new urban development is taking shape on the coast of Hainan Island, South China, and Trinity has been selected by the New Zealand based architect to create 5 interior schemes that can be used within any of the New Zealand inspired villa designs that are to be built around the newly finished golf course complex.
The client brief was to infuse a pacific flavour into the designs through the use of materials and finishes commonly used in our own interiors here at home. The client wanted each scheme to be distinct from the other, not dissimilar to the villa plans themselves. Our scope of work included the selection of all finishes and fittings throughout, detailed kitched and bathroom designs, custom designed furniture to be manufactured in China and the selection of premade furniture and accessories to compliment each scheme to provide a total finished package.
A high level of detail in the design, drawings and schedules was required in order to clearly communicate the vast amount of detail within each interior scheme. This was supported by itemised samples and images of every item selected that was then sent to China for referencing against the plans.
Construction on this phase of the project is to commence in September 2011.
