Plume Restaurant, Matakana

Trinity was commissioned to undertake the complete refurbishment of the original Herons Flight Vineyard in Matakana, and transform the space into a multi-use dining and function destination that would entice people to visit year round. The setting itself is picturesque and this lent itself to ensure that views from the dining area were maximised and seating was practical but comfortable and relaxed. A tasting room was added as was a private small function room with an open fire and library.

Our involvement encompassed the selection of finishes, in conjunction with the architect, as well as designing and selecting feature lighting, furniture throughout, commissioning of art, accessories and styling. We were also responsible for sourcing all products and project managing the delivery and installation as well as selling and disposing of all existing furniture that was no longer required. This project was managed within a very tight timeline to coincide with the launch of the new restaurant, Plume.

The team at Trinity came to us highly recommended for the make over of Plume Restaurant. We worked directly with Jayne and found her very easy going and always ready to listen and take our ideas into consideration before producing the best options. We also found it highly remarkable that the billing activity, which was very hectic, was handled by the back office so well and we did not have to worry about a thing! Overall a very satisfying end result was achieved making Plume a landmark in Matakana.
