Renovation and Project Management in Pakuranga, Auckland

Liz contacted us requiring assistance with ‘updating’ the interiors in her family home. Areas that needed attention included stripping of all existing wallpaper and re-painting the entire interior, selection of a feature wallpaper, replacement of window joinery, new light fittings, new window treatments and carpet as well as suggestions on furniture placement within each room.

As Liz worked fulltime we also project managed the co-ordination of all trades people involved allowing Liz to sit back and relax.

'Our whole house needed decorating and brought from the 1970s into the 21st century, and I found the whole project really daunting. I think I have good taste, but didn't know where to start, and was worried about making an expensive mistake. So when a friend recommended Trinity, I thought it sounded like a solution, and once I met Nicole I knew I was in the right hands. It's been wonderful to sit back and wait for their recommendations on everything from paint colours, curtains, blinds, carpet, right down to light fittings and lampshades. And everything looks so fabulous - in keeping with the 70s style of the house but with a wonderfully modern, clean fresh feel.

Trinity manages the whole project and ensures the trades people are there when needed, so all the work is done promptly and to a very high standard. It's like a finely tuned orchestra - everyone doing their part, and in the right order. So there's no need for me to do any of the hard work, such as negotiating times or coordinating trades people - they deal with that.

I was a bit nervous about exposing our rather cluttered but much loved family home to a professional design team, but they are wonderfully warm and non-judgmental, and their suggestions about what to keep and what to get rid of have been really inspiring. It's very valuable to get a professional and detached, but sympathetic viewpoint, especially if you can't see your way clear to the kind of beautiful, relaxing, welcoming home you really want!'
