Nicole McKenzie


Prior to purchasing Trinity in 2006, Nicole built her career through sales and marketing roles – finishing as CEO for a successful New Zealand-owned IT company.

She has always been extremely passionate about providing exceptional client experiences & delivering quality service. After completing her own building project with Trinity, she took the opportunity to purchase the business with a clear vision for its future.

Nicole’s vision was to bring together a team of hand-selected, highly qualified & personable designers to deliver on the design aspect whilst providing outstanding backup and support, which she sees as being equally important to the success of each project.

Nicole’s role is to oversee projects to ensure both the design & financial expectations are met. She also continues to build on relationships with architects, builders & suppliers, all of whom contribute to the successful outcome of Trinity’s projects.

Sarah Carroll


Sarah has managed the operational side of Trinity Interior Design, Auckland since 2007. Her early career in the textile trade put her in good stead to understand the details behind the design. She is highly organised; managing the procurement and delivery side of the business and ensuring all projects run smoothly. Sarah has a delightful manner, putting clients at ease and giving them the confidence that all is in hand. 

Ariesha Tedjapoernama

Design & Project Administration

Ariesha graduated from Auckland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Spatial Design. She provides an outstanding level of customer service, which she developed through her experience working for a leading Australasian furniture and home ware company. Working alongside Trinity’s designers is what Ariesha loves most about her job, as each project is exciting and unique.

Jacqui Blyth

Administration Support

Jacqui qualified as a NZ Registered Nurse in 1984 and nursed in London and New Zealand until 1990. After this time Jacqui has held various roles in administration, accounts, sales and management. More recently she worked as a Teacher Aide for special needs children at Greenhithe Primary School. Jacqui is highly organised with great attention to detail which is a wonderful asset to the business.

Jayne Tolley

Interior Designer

Jayne obtained her Diploma in Interior Design in 2004 and believes in blending the comforts of the past with the optimism of the future. She enjoys helping her clients express their creativity and personal style while making use of the latest in technology and convenience. Jayne is particularly passionate about New Zealand designers. She is energetic and positive and has a strong work ethic; always going the extra mile for her clients.

Kate Paterson

Interior Designer

Kate graduated from Victoria University with a Bachelor of Design in 2004, after which she moved to London where she worked for four years with a highly recognised interior design firm. Kate’s belief that the designer should not impose on the client underpins her eclectic design style. She believes her role is to translate a brief and work in collaboration with the client to create an interior that provides a sense of identity and that can evolve.  Kate has excellent design and project management skills, and builds lasting relationships with her clients.

Emily Goodwin

Interior Designer

Emily’s education started in architecture, followed by experience working in a high-end interior design studio and commercial architectural practice. Emily enjoys variety and the challenge of providing a new and unique solution for each design brief. Interiors designed by Emily are more than one-dimensional; they are layered using colour, textures, patterns and contrasting styles. She is also sensitive to budget constraints and will work to achieve the desired result without sacrificing the small details or quality.

Alison Baker

Interior Designer

Alison grew up in London and trained at Chelsea College of Art & Design, where she attained a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Interior and Spatial Design and developed her passion for architecture. Following this, she completed the KLC Interior Design Diploma. Before settling in New Zealand, Alison worked in London on renovation projects of a variety of scales and budgets. Alison's strong ability to communicate ideas visually and professionally has enabled her to work closely with clients to achieve outstanding design solutions.

Emily Barker

Interior Designer

Originally from the UK and having lived in various corners of the world, Emily has found home here in New Zealand. Emily trained in London, where she was awarded a Diploma in Interior Design with Distinction from the University of Brighton and KLC School of Design. Emily’s projects showcase creativity, flair and originality, whilst working to clients’ needs, tastes and budgets. Her approach to design demonstrates professionalism, enthusiasm and talent – always with an eye for functional solutions and beautiful details.

Lorraine O’Rourke

Interior Designer

Professionally trained in Europe in spatial, theatre and furniture design, Lorraine is an award-winning designer with over 15 years’ experience in high-end residential and commercial design. Working alongside her client, Lorraine translates their wants, needs and aspirations into a clear design direction from concept to completion. Lorraine’s combination of creative solutions, attention to detail and her ability to deliver on time and within budget are key to the success of her projects.
