This project was a true labour of love. The transformation of an early 1900’s villa in Grey Lynn, completely stripped back and rebuilt to still retain it’s original features but with a modern twist to meet today’s lifestyle. It was a wonderful collaboration between all parties to achieve the level of detail and overall aesthetic that the clients had envisaged. Trinity design was involved in a full scope of work for the selection of all interior furniture finishes and fittings, furniture and window treatments.
‘It has been a pleasure to work with Trinity Interior Design, and Kate Paterson in particular, together with Jayne Tolley, on the redesign of our 1906 villa. I had a vision to restore the house and to introduce all the benefits of a modern home while retaining its original character and charm.
Trinity Interior Design immediately grasped that vision. Kate was able to translate my ideas into practical decisions about how the house should look and feel. Her recent design experience in London was particularly helpful in helping me renovate a more traditional home. However the process was always two way.
Kate was always happy to support my ideas and to address any concerns I might have about detail, however minor. The practical help from Trinity Interior Design in terms of project management has also been invaluable. We are delighted with the renovation of our home.’
